How to Order

WE ARE HERE TO HELP

Every New Wave customer is allocated an account manager to discuss individual requirements and advise on portion costs, what’s in season and special offers. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have – that is what we’re here for.

If you already have an account with New Wave, there are several ways to place an order (see below). If you are a new customer, please see the section below to enquire about setting up a new account.

If you are a retail customer, please visit newwavefishmarket.co.uk or call the New Wave Fish & Seafood Market on 01285 651751 or email cirencester@newwavefishmarket.co.uk.

EXISTING CUSTOMERS

During office hours

Ordering is quick and easy via phone, emailWhatsApp or our online App. We can also send you Specials via email and/or WhatsApp.

It is always best to order from us during office hours (Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm) for next-day delivery (Tuesday–Saturday; we do not deliver Mondays). You are more likely to secure your complete order, and we can confirm availability at time of ordering. In addition, our account managers can help you with your order. Phone us on 01285 715160, e-mail your order on sales@new-wave.co.uk, send a WhatsApp to 07936 362354 or order via our online app (see below). Alternatively, if you prefer, we can phone you on specified days and at certain times to suit you.

Please note: Wild fish sells extremely quickly, so we would particularly recommend daytime orders for all wild fish (except for cod and haddock, which is usually readily available).

Evenings and weekends

For your convenience, you can also order outside office hours by emailWhatsApp or using our app. If you order before 11pm, we can deliver your order the following day (Tuesday–Saturday).

Please note: In the evening, fresh seafood is sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The earlier you order, the more likely you are to get your complete order. Also, some products (including some fresh produce) have longer lead times.

Ordering via the New Wave app

For your convenience, you can now order via our online app, which you can download from the App Store and install on your mobile phone (Android or iPhone) or other Apple devices. There is a cut-off time of 11pm for next-working-day delivery. You need to register with us to access our App.

How to set up an account

Setting up an account with New Wave is easy – just follow the steps below. Alternatively, call us Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm on 01285 715160 and we’ll talk you through the process.

  • Complete our New Customer Enquiry Form online here.
  • We will contact you to let you know that your application is being processed and to discuss the terms of your account.
  • Once we have contacted you to let you know the account has been processed, you are ready to place an order.

Remember when ordering …

  • It is always best to discuss your order with a member of our sales team before ordering, particularly when buying wild fish, which is subject to availability and price fluctuations.
  • If the product you’re ordering is not available, we will suggest a substitute. If you place your order outside working hours (after 4pm or at weekends), we will replace the product you have ordered with a good fresh-fish substitute and will inform you first thing the following morning. There are rarely availability issues with our smoked fish, frozen seafood and deli items.
  • If you would like advice before you order, we’re more than happy to advise on portion cost, what’s in season and special offers. Just give us a call.

  • Please state how you would like the fish prepared, e.g. scaled, filleted and pinboned, skinned and trimmed.

  • When appropriate, advise us on any specific delivery instructions.
  • Let us know if you’d like to receive our fresh fish and special offers by WhatsApp or email.

Please note: All fresh seafood is subject to availability and prices can fluctuate considerably depending on the time of year, weather, tides, quotas and demand. Farmed seafood from outside the UK can also fluctuate in availability and price, due to demand and conversion rates respectively, but it is more stable than wild seafood.
