New Wave runs a highly efficient, streamlined operation to ensure chefs receive the finest, freshest seafood in the fastest time possible. Each morning, at the crack of dawn, our vehicles head to the south coast, load up the vans with the fishermen’s latest catch and arrive back to our depot by early afternoon. The following morning – less than 24 hours later – the fish is delivered to your door. We deliver 5 days a week, Tuesday to Saturday.
We offer a free delivery service to all our wholesale customers – currently, we go just beyond Hereford and Bristol in the west, Winchester in the south, central London in the East and Coventry in the North.
We know how important reliability is for the busy chef, so we aim for total consistency and chef-friendly delivery times. We usually deliver early to late morning and aim to have delivered all orders by noon.
Our route order is virtually the same each day, to bring as much consistency to our operation as possible. Every day, our transport and logistics department monitors 16 delivery routes, as well as two collection vehicles in Cornwall, to ensure your order arrives on time. All our vehicles are fitted with a tracker system, enabling us to know exactly where our fleet is and when deliveries have been made. It also allows us to estimate delivery times for new customers.
